We do not sell blood diamonds. None of the diamonds sold on our site are blood diamonds. Strictly following the ethical policy of our founders we do not buy, sell or promote blood diamonds. We make sure that our suppliers too follow the conflict free policy. We take a written document from each and every vendor, declaring that the diamonds supplied by them are not blood diamonds. Blood diamonds are also known as conflict diamonds. We thoroughly check each vendor’s conflict free policy to ensure that they are in compliant to the regulations. We too stringently comply with the AML (Anti-Money Laundering policy); all our vendors too are the AML policy complaints. We do not buy diamonds from the countries that do not follow the Kimberly process, to avoid any chances of getting any blood diamonds.
Conflict or Blood diamonds are diamonds that are mined from the areas controlled by forces or groups opposed to the legitimate internationally recognized governments. These terrorist groups use the money generated from these diamonds to fund military action in  opposition to the recognized governments, or in contravention of the decisions of the Security Council. Blood diamonds have funded many brutal conflicts in Africa. The rebel groups use them to fuel conflict and civil wars resulting in the death and displacement of millions of innocent people. The terrorist groups use these conflict diamonds to finance their activities and for money-laundering purposes.
Kimberley Process Diamond Certification Scheme, a government-run scheme has undertaken a campaign to combat the illegal trade of blood diamonds. Their process is followed by many countries, to check the legitimacy of the diamonds production processes. We do not purchase diamonds from the countries that do not abide by the Kimberly process. We do not sell blood diamonds.
